did you test that ?

if you do, you will find that the Solaris x86 player goes to a nice page
that says "Adobe Flash Player Download Center Solaris x86" and then it
provides the sparc package.

Ordinary users, like the ones that I am talking to with CAD/CAM workstations
will simply follow the links and watch things not work. It is the smallest
thing like this that knocks Solaris x86 orders off the desk and instead I
see a manager looking at Windows XP on Dell running CATIA.

All of that simply because the manufacturers documentation can not be read
by the CAD/CAM designer running Solaris. SunRay is out also. Actually that
is more because of graphics on the SunRay not being able to handle the
requirements for large screen CAD/CAM.

anyways ... its just one of those many little things that irks me.
