Here is one example to show why one should not recommend docs.sun.com to people who say, "I am new to Solaris and would like to become familiar with it". It also answers the above point. I go about this way : I am a beginner, I want to change the hostname of my machine, I would prefer to help myself by looking at all available documentation before asking anybody else, I give the search "Changing hostname" in docs.sun.com and do the same in www.google.com docs.sun.com returns results none of them useful !!!
