Have a look at Microsofts Channel 9 - you can listen to engineers speal
of the changes they've made to Windows kernel, the benefits, etc. etc.
What it sounds like is that the individual wants a guide to show them
through the system, the features, the ideas behind them etc. Its like
wanting a book about Christianity without actually needing or wanting to
be a Christian.
