Funny thing that, maybe they are losing perspective and forgetting which vendor made opteron a true "enterprise" contender. Now that they have high volume dell on side they've left behind non-commodity players and their "gamer" user base as second and third rate customers. This could be a big reason why sun have cuddled up to intel a bit more recently. Shame about AMD, they have that whole underdog thing going for them (Pepsi, Red Sox etc) and so many people are just looking for a reason to like them, unfortunately they just seem to do so many things wrong...
