Unfortunately mate, for many people in the IT industry they think that the end users should come on their hands and knee's, groveling for help, groveling for support and groveling for features. Sometimes I wonder if any of them have ever worked in the service industry before becoming a programmer - some of the need to realise that 'the customer pays your wage' - because they for some reason can't see the connection between the customer and how they get paid.
