Al,

This is a laptop with 512MB RAM. The base laptop has 256M and I've populated 
the extra slot with another 256M so no, there's no more expansion slots 
available. 

A state of the art OS shouldn't be this bloated. I don't think Solaris needs 
more than 256MB of RAM to run satisfactorily. I've got Solaris 10 FCS running 
on a 256MB machine. It's the installer that is busted.
