The cdrecord version that is on Solaris will not work with DVD+R/DL in case you
will not almost fill up the 8.5 GB because it is too old.

You do not need to use dev= in case you have exactly one drive in your system.

Well, this is an OpenSolaris list and so we are talkung about Solaris 11 
anyway ;-)
