I suppose build 72 would have been OK if it (1) did not devastate my build 71 slice or, (2) it's GNOME/CDE desktops were not broken. Wrt (1), there is no crying over spilt soy milk. But how is your GNOME desktop? If it works on your machine, then there could be something wrong on my installation and I am willing to re-install build 72.
