It works for me, although I haven't used it much yet, so take that
with a "grain of salt" :)

However, I also did a clean install as I experienced data corruption
under b70 (which now appears to be gone) that had randomly overwritten
files in /etc with pkg prototype data.

It is unfortunate that you are having issues...
