I'm not sure why SUNWonbld is different than the compiler (or is it
because they are not available under usr/src/tools where all tools live?

(Or is it about elfsign and cscope-fast?)

Some progress is being made but it's, e.g., not something that Sun
is directly interested in doing (Sun gains relatively little from
doing this and in some cases it can't even do it because it has
access to the source and so it is difficult to claim is was clean roomed)

Not sure you need the sources; libdisasm for SPARC was replaced by an
open variant with access to just the binaries and the source of the tools
using them.
