Currently Solaris Express is the most stable of the OpenSolaris based distros. The builds with developer editions are expected to be more stable since they are supposed to have undergone more testing. But then the stability is not consistent across various builds is not consistent. Depending on the criticality of the service to which you want to put it to use. Solaris_10 is a released product while SX is an in developement product (beta).
