According to a recent report, over 350,000 units of EeePCs have been sold since 
November, well over Asus's initial target of 200~300K for the entire year; Asus 
expects to sell 5 million units in 2008:

At least 5 EeePC models are being sold at Amazon.com; its best selling model, 
Asus Eee 4G-Galaxy 7" PC Mobile Internet Device (512 MB RAM, 4 GB Hard Drive, 
Webcam, Linux Preloaded) Black, has been fluctuating b/t No. 1 and No. 2 in the 
past couple of weeks:

Anything that empowers consumers to digress from Windows/Macs is a great news
