Yes. Tak your pick from any of the de/encoders on blastwave org. Once you install pkg-get and configure /opt/csw/etc/pkg-get.conf, it's as easy as pkg-get -i product > Solaris Express is a legitimate platform for > installing Oracle database server? Of course not! Oracle is a professional, commercial product, and as such, it must first pass certification against new operating system revisions. Since Solaris Express is still in development, that isn't likely to happen, i.e. one is not likely to see Oracle stating on their website that the RDBMS is certified against Solaris Express. If you think about it, Solaris Express is a constantly moving target, so it's not really feasible to certify against it. Having written that, Oracle RDBMS will most likely work out of the box on Solaris Express, since Solaris offers a binary compatibility guarantee. Just don't count on Oracle supporting you, should you land into problems.
