Hi Alan,

Thanks for your interest.  There are a couple of inadequacies that are quite 
obvious (& very likely already in your to-do list), e.g., in the desktop area, 
current version of Indiana can't run OpenOffice.org (now the patch mechanism 
seems to be broken again), can't run Java (could be my own fault), can't input 
CJK characters (which renders Indiana useless for us).

Also, the Chinese character set used in SXCE provide very crispy and readable 
Chinese fonts, probably the best I have seen (& I have seen a lot).  
Unfortunately, the set used in Indiana has quite a few characters missing, 
rendering it "can't be used" even as a web browser.  Opening a browser and you 
see a bunch of rectangles with four numbers; this is not funny.

At the present time, since Indiana cannot co-exist with other Solaris slices, 
we can't even keep it in any of our machines for very long.  (Space is a 
problem, but it will be a different story if it can be usable.)

I am sure you have your own list of high priority items.  Just hope they are 
not about 3D or compiz.  :-)
