That's right. I've been using Solaris for more than a decade because I want to 
run a System V UNIX(R). If I wanted to run Linux, I would have done so by now.

The last thing I want is for Solaris to behave like Linux, set me up with 
/bin/bash for a default shell (boy oh boy, did that make me mad!) and have GNU 
junk strewn all over the place in order to make "Linux users feel more at 
home". /usr/sfw/ is fine where it is, and /usr/gnu is, well, I don't want to 
say what it is.

Oh, and the string that uname(1) returned was the icing on the cake.
