<sarcasm> They (at the DLC) are doing everything possible to make it "easy" to download SXCE and boost OpenSolaris adoption/experimentation. Rumor has it that the next DLC initiative, to further facilitate convenient downloads, will involve the DLC shipping out a pointed stick to every possible "customer", with instructions to poke out both their eyes before attempting a download! </sarcasm> Moritz Willers had attempted to outwit the demented browser-only download "policy" of SXCE build 84 with a Perl script available from: http://wit.ch/sxce-download.pl The email announcement of the "improved" version is here: http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/opensolaris-discuss/2008-March/039409.html Please provide Moritz with quality feedback and help him perfect this convenience tool. Maybe, just maybe, if the clowns at the DLC figure out, that regardless of their attempts to obfuscate the download process, that there are reasonable people who can always outwit them, then they'll give up their demented plan to marginalize SXCE. And move on to something worthwhile - like total world domination! :) Regards, Al Hopper Logical Approach Inc, Plano, TX.
