hi

Ok i have solaris installed
but i have a hard time configuring for a connection.

There is no DHCP option in solaris like
there was in solaris express.

In BSD setting up a connection was simple.
Host ,Doman,IPV4 gateway,name server,ipv4 asddress,and netmask
and i was online

It looks all more confusing in Solaris :)
no matter waht i did i was unable to connect.

i have cable modem and router.my card workls on solaris
but i did not set it up properly as it seems.

In Solaris i do not quite understand it at all
as the settings look different then in BSD

i have to constasntly do sys-unconfig to try again

i tried the touch /etc/hostname.le0 and /etc/dhcp.le0
rebooted and it failed

am i supose to use le0 ? or lo0- or rtls0
i tried them all and they all failed on boot up

i really dont understand how to set up my connection

my cable modem loopback lo0
and its rtls0

How do i get a dhcp connection please

Also is there as way i can do this without having to sys-unconfig everytime

Thank You
