Two things :

1) happening :

It should come as no surprise that I am putting in OpenSolaris based
build servers for people to use as needed. I'm in the middle of
getting that going and then people can just login directly and build
what they need or take what they need from the existing package list.

2 ) working on it :

I have a Sun Secure Global Desktop idea in the works also. People will
be able to just go and click on desktop.blastwave.org and get an
OpenSolaris desktop. They can then decide if they want to download and
install it at home but the zero barrier to entry will be made
available to them.  I had a prototype going for a while and some
people loved it from Australia, Poland and California. Great response
time and no major problems with lag.

That last idea .. is a "good idea" that I am trying to work out the
logistics on.
