It depends on what you will do. For testing out and development OpenSolaris 2008.05 is a good choice. For stable production (on a laptop???) Solaris 10 is better. I recommend yoy to choose OpenSolaris 2008.05 > b) the laptop i have, im having difficulty connecting to the internet. > i know that wireless works as other laptops in the house (with windows) are > connected. > i use a wrt54gl router, and my laptop is an asus m6ne. id like to know if/how EXACTLY > i can connect to the internet. im not new to windows, but im very very > new to linux. Linux? What has Linux to do with this? However OpenSolaris 2008.05 will automagically connect you via DHCP just like you are used to from Windows. _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
