Well they haven't sold anything worth buying for years, and it's been clear
from the last product refresh (releasing a slower more expensive SunBlade 1500)
that there was no future there.

I think you'll find the vendor picking up the slack is eBay. You can
get quite decent
machines there - at least as good if not better than anything Sun have
been selling
new for the last couple of years - at quite acceptable prices.
