That may work, it may not for some things though. The environment I'm working in is composed of scientific one offs, We're already relying on VNC for similar issues, but not all of them. I'm not sure how consequential this will be, it may have very little impact. On the other hand the easiest option would be to just buy a box from another vendor if there are issues with that solution.
