Martin Here is what I have done. 1) Machine memory reduced to only 2GB 2) Booted OpenSolaris 2008.05 LiveCD 3) Installed to harddrive (as assumed the log files would be reset at boot) 4) restarted and booted from hard drive to make sure all ok 5) shutdown added memory to 8GB 6) booted - had to hold power button down as system not responsive at login box and frozen screen 7) removed memory back down to 2GB 8) booted ok 9) archived log files you asked me for and they are attached.
