Yes, I was talking about DRI support, sorry for being unclear.

And yes - I was talking `bout Nvidia drivers.

Information - well, from my experience. My position is simple - if I have ATI 
Radeon, and it`s NOT working that good (i.e. DRI, speed) like similar Nvidia 
gear in the same operating system - I call this "badly supported hardware for 
particular OS".

I don`t know is it fault of ATI, or someone`s else, I don`t have info to be 
reliable source of that info.

Only thing I know from my experience - overall UNIX support is better for 
Nvidia gear, rather than ATI. At last there are specific drivers (closed-src 
binary-only, whatever, I don`t really care...I just want it to work :) ) for 
Nvidia GPU, and there are no specific drivers for ATI. That`s it :)

And I really happy, that Sun devs are working towards resolving this issue.

`Cos, you know, me too have ATI Radeon GPU in my notebook :)
