No

Yes, you have to manually add the missing
driver alias before rebooting from the installed
hdd.

A bug should be filed for this at
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/

When usr/src/pkgdefs/SUNWlsimega/postinstall
gets fixed, it would expect that a future version of
opensolaris installs just fine.
