This is (as mentioned before) writing in "C" as opposed to writing in "GCC".

Sun Studio definitely is better suited to write portable code than doing the
same with gcc and the include file structure on Solaris (being POSIX approved)
is another important fact I rely on when writing highly portable code.

I have been told that the code review has already been finished more than a
year ago. I am still in hope to see it as OSS.
