I know this thread is old but I got the same message while trying to install
open solaris 09 and it did not succeed .
I have a athlon 2800 64 cpu and my system has been plagued with freeze ups for
quite a while. I have been using linux for a couple of years now (not
solaris)
I just wonder if the freeze up problem is related to the processor needed a
bios update ?
any help would be greatly appreciated. I have yet to send a message to AMD but
I need to fix this thing if I can.
I don't know where to begin to trouble shoot this issue.
