I don't know about Tuxedo, but I thought a number of people had installed the Oracle Database on OpenSolaris 2009.06 - what makes you think it's not possible? > This is the kind of stuff we have to think about before discontuing SXCE and > throwing all resources into Indiana (which has yet to prove itself as a > viable server OS and as a worthy successor to "The King of the Data Center" - > a.k.a. Solaris 10). If we called it "Solaris 11 Alpha" (which we're not, but if we did), would you be complaining it was not yet a proven replacement for Solaris 10? It's under development towards becoming a full enterprise ready release - no one ever said it's done yet. Expecting it to be proven before it's finished just seems silly. -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersm...@sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
