Why? This message is a broadcast of the previously mentioned bug,
6634371, by the person who filed it. What additional concerns does it raise
from the original post? The ZFS specific version of this bug is:
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6735425
The description should ease concerns about the safety of ZFS under 32
bit kernels.
If anyone believes something was missed, point me to the code and I will
add it
to the public description.
