come out of commands man. This is not 70s or 80s. Even for such a simple thing
like creating directory, don't make a user go thru this. I am the owner of the
sys. I know what I do even if I create/modify/delete a dir/file. I don't
intentionally do anything to sys related dirs/files. What I want is ability to
create directories. Keeping all my files in home directory which sits in the
same partition as operating system installation partition is the worst thing.
Best thing is to login thru root. I have to check whether I can change perms of
/ using the user account created during os2k96 installation. Lots of novice
computer people are doing innumerable things using user friendly apps like
email,etc that store their things on databases. Because of user friendliness of
operating systems and applications, so many computers, operating systems, apps
are being used. Whole new ways of doing things came. Amount of Paper is
reduced. I want to use file browser in open solaris rather tha
n CUI.
