, and btw you may think as an option to extract the network printer detection
algorithm in kde4.3 cuz so far as long as the printer is in the network kde
autodetect it, my printers are hp laser, canon, lexmark.
CUPS has it's own printer detection mechanism(s) that the CUPS web
interface and system-config-printer use when you go to add a new printer
or find a new printer. I haven't looked at what KDE does, but adds are
that it just asks CUPS to detect the printers for it. The USB hotplug
printer support comes from hal-cups-utils.
