Which card are you talking about? I have an ES-1371
which is very well supported, ever since Boomer was
introduced (build 115), it's even the reference sound
card.
Here's what 'prtconf -D' has to say about it:
pci1274,1371, instance #0 (driver name: audioens)
I had to buy the G-streamer codecs from Fluendo to
get Totem movie player and Songbird Media player
to work. Other than that, it was a breathe: OSS is not
needed anymore with this card.
Now, with the SoundBlaster Audigy, that's a different
story...
