NFS still caused the opensolaris server to reboot once the VM started to copy. There may just be a NFS configuration / permissions issue as the windows machine I attempted to test on first was not able to write to it.
COMSTAR is working stable thus far, and at this point it is all going through the 1 bonded interface and it seems that the CIFS performance increased for sustained transfers while comstar is transfering, strange? The comstar iscsi is sustaining at about 15MBps. I was here before though, I will see what happens when I am running a VM and then try and copy over another, that is when it crapped out before. Then I will try to limit to my dedicated iscsi nics. I would still appriciate a little insight in how I should use the SSD drive and if it is actually going to help with CIFS or iSCSI. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
