Yes I did the same steps, and can connect to iscsi and transfer data. With my last configuration I mapped to dsk instead of rdsk. Still crashes though.
I use Citrix Xenserver for virtualization, this does not play a part in the problem, as I have got the same results strictly using the Microsoft initiator on my windows desktop. It has also crashed when I transfered info via a CIFS share. I have extensivly tress tested all the Harddrives, memory, with PC-CHeck, stress tested the CPU with IntelBurnTest with Windows 7 loaded, as the version of PC-Check was not compatible with my CPU's, Memtest for 4 days. I think all hardware issues have been ruled out. The dump does not seem to get written, as there are no files in /var/crash/<hostname> after the crash. Not sure what that meanse. It powers down before it has a chance to write the file.
