Nobody ever said anything to the contrary; I certainly didn't, not even implied 
it.

But what are you going to do without kernel engineers? They don't grow on trees.
And it's not like there is an abundance of them working on (Open)Solaris.

How many Juergen Keils and Masayuki Murayamas are out there in the community?

I am not a troll; angry and perhaps feeling betrayed, and passionate about 
Solaris, yes. But I never made any attempts to hide that, and why should I? 
Must everything be perfect so that the marketing department at Sun has nothing 
to waffle about? Am I perhaps interfering with their pefrect vision? That's 
absurd.
