first try
ifconfig -a
Then you might need to run
ndd
on the individual interfaces...
So, why the need to get/set these "boring" details? The drivers are normally
clever enough to figure these settings by themselves... I never had the need to set any
of those things...

Hi there - I'm used to using lanadmin and being new to this operating system - can any one give me a command or script that will tell me how each nic is setup *(i.e. full/duplex/speed) etc.
