seriously, I would give more time. Oracle has been  issuing out pamphlets  
about the future of Solaris and OpenSolaris. If Oracle was not serious about 
OpenSolaris then they would go to all the trouble issuing out documents about 
it.  an excerpt:

OpenSolaris
 –  Next update 1st half CY2010
 –  Update focus:
     •  Packaging and installation
     •  Continued enhancements to networking and virtualization
 –  Currently based on Build 134, OpenSolaris 2010.??
 –  No more CDs, downloads only
