Oracle made a big initial investment and continues to invest in the technologies that they have renamed, much like IBM and others have done with products they have aquired.

I guess one of the things you have to ask yourself is exactly when is an entity entitled to rename a product that they have aquired? And when would it be ok for Oracle to assert their brand? (sorry, two questions)
