From what I recall, the KDE packages depend on postgre. As I pointed out to another poster, PostgreSQL 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4 have been removed from Solaris 11 Express.

You'll likely have to remove all postgre and KDE packages from your system to be able to upgrade.

You'll also likely need to remove any packages installed from contrib. Contrib is non-functional at this point (as far as I know), and I suspect packages from there might also prevent an upgrade.
