Why would you need to import it?  Normally, a disk goes bad, you swap it
out, and everything continues running.  You don't even shutdown or export.
So I don't know why you would need to import it.

Did you really export your pool at all?  This looks like maybe it's still
present, which would be normal unless you intentionally exported your
pool...   You can tell if you just run "zpool list" and see if the pool is
present.  And you can check the healt of an existing pool via "zpool status"
