Yep, I could have made that more clear. Most server-class hardware has x8 PCI-E slots. Anything but the lowest end graphics cards will require a x16 PCI-E slot. If you don't care about 3D performance, the on-board graphics of most servers will do just nicely (generally, they can do 2D at 1280x1024 with no problem these days). Server-class stuff doesn't have audio, either. If you care about video/audio, I'd look at the used workstation stuff.
