Hi, einar, That's fine with me as long as I can access OS ZFS partitionfrom Linux.
The problem is that Linux is set over ReiserFS partition, so I can't do anything from OpenSolaris, unless there is some kind of tool in OpenSolaris for that. Also I was hoping that somehow it is possible to create a pool just for a directory on the drive and not for the drive itself. If I can make a pool for a directory, let's say: zpool create - o version=13 test cXtXdX/temp that would've been perfect. Otherwise I guess I will end up accessing the whole disk in OS when I do export/import. One more question, though. What do I need in order for that pool to stay forever? Is there some configuration file or /etc/vfstab changes? Thank you. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
