I have a Silicon Image 3112 controller on my motherboard which identifies itself as pci1095,6112 . I have successfully added -B pci-ide="pci1095,6112" to the end of the kernel line in grub and I can see the disk when I run format from the live CD. Unfortunately the installed instance of OpenSolaris doesn't see the disk. I have checked using prtconf that the driver is attached, and it is, but format doesn't see the disk. How can I get access to the disk?
