I will try it with the si3124 driver but I don't think it works. It definitely 
does work with the pci-ide driver - I had it working before. I just didn't 
configure it at install time, leading to my current difficulty. The driver is 
definitely attached to the controller, since it appears in the prtconf output. 
The problem is the drive is not showing up. I will post dmesg output shortly.
