Can ipf restrict connections by application? If not, any other firewall that can do this on opensolaris?
For eg, I'd only want say firefox and pkg-get to connect out of the lan? This does a lot more for security than opening a few ports that any app can use : ports 80, 21, 23, 445, 53, etc are almost always open and if any app can use them, that's a gaping hole imho. Right?
