It appears that there is a bug logged since earlier this year (as far back as Feb). This condition only exits if it is a point to point configuration when using an emulex hba. I find it hard to believe that this condition has been outstanding for this amount of time. We are an emulex shop, but it seems that comstar is largely developed around Qlogic hba's. Adding an FC switch to each deployment of 2 servers is just crazy from a cost and logical standpoint. Any ideas.... anyone?
