I have another issue also. In some of the builds the Emulex target seems stable, but only Qlogic cards can boot from the lun. The Emulex cards can see the lun, I can install to it, but not boot. The bios is always listed as not installed on the adapter. I have not really spend a lot of time on this problem yet, but I do wish that the opensolaris community rename comstar to qlogic-target. Please I am not trying to be rude here, but this has really put me in a bad position since I recommended this solution for non mission critical deployments that require bulk storage and up to 2 systems to connect to it (via loop to a dual port HBA?s). Had I known from the start that basically only Qlogic cards are supported I would have been in a better position. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
