I saw a lot of problems with different routers just after installing SP3 for Windows XP.After that no chance to obtain IP via DHCP and port LED were just blinking.After removing SP3 was everything OK again.
Of course it can be faulty router.But I think thanks to his description that this is not a case.If he will test it with BSDanywhere where is original driver for OpenBSD and Intel 4965/5100/5300 cards then it will be more clear what's wrong.
