Not sure why you're crying about SXCE, but "Java Desktop" is actually
just a plain Gnome that runs now faster on OpenSolaris. :-) StarOffice
is what you can get from http://www.openoffice.org/ and your Citrix
stuff is here:

SXCE and OpenSolaris is not the same thing. I personally happy it
gone, because now everybody will stay focused on OpenSolaris fixing.

What to do next for you? Blow away SXCE, reinstall with OpenSolaris
and have fun. NOTE: Obviously, you should try it on VirtualBox if it
all works for you, as for the starter... :-)
