Hi there,

I am trying to install OpenSolaris on a DELL INSPIRON 530S machine.
It has a 350 GB hard disk, which I have partitioned in two, one partition for
Ubuntu and one for Solaris.
I have installed Ubuntu without problems on the first partition.
I have copied the menu.lst file from Ubuntu and kept it handy.
I have installed OpenSolaris without problems on the other partition.
After that I went in and modified as root the OpenSolaris menu.lst file located
in /rpool/boot/grub.

I get the dual boot menu, but I cannot start Ubuntu, I get the infamous error:
Error 15: file not found, it complains (I guess) about the
/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.27-7-generic file.

I am new to dual boot machines, I know a little bit of Unix commands but not
enough to get by this problem, any help would be appreciated!! I am willing to
start all over again with erasing the hard disk and installing everything, but
I have no idea how to do things differently this time around.

Thank you,
Diegis.
