... and the 3rd install went through, successfully, and recognized the 8211 using the driver provided by Winson Wang; only after adding nge "pci10de,760" and reboot. Setting to nwam, it detects and configures the network. What is constantly wrong with that DVD (md5 is okay), DVD-drive or hard drive, I don't know. I'll leave it as it is now, as long as it works.
